Liverpool restaurant offering NHS workers free meal for two throughout January

A Liverpool city centre restaurant has decided to go a step further than offering NHS discount by giving away a meal for two for all NHS staff.

Bundobust, is based on Bold Street and specialises in Indian street food - it has only been open in the city since May but has already gained a huge reputation.

Having proven popular in Leeds and Manchester, the Liverpool restaurant serves classics such as Bundo Chaat, Vada Pav and Okra Fries.

It was named among the best places to eat in Liverpool in this year's BBC Good Food guide.

NHS workers who want to make the most of the offer need to email liverpool@bundobust.com to book.

NHS staff will then get a combo for two worth £25.50 to enjoy with a friend for free throughout Janurary.

The deal is valid Sunday to Thursday between 12pm and 7pm.

It's a big offer from one of Liverpool's independents which comes after many other businesses increased discount for emergency service workers this year.

Back in October, Iceland announced it would offer 20% for a limited time and Yo Sushi also confirmed throughout the Christmas period emergency service workers' discount would increase from 20% to 50%.
