One of Liverpool’s most popular restaurants will be hosting a cook along session this weekend.
Maray, which has three venues across the city, is well known for serving small plates inspired by flavours of the Middle East.
With restaurants and bars across the country closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, many are coming up with new ways to interact with their customers during lockdown.
Now the team is hosting a cook along in collaboration with popular podcast A Girl and A Gay in the Gym for fans to enjoy - and maybe even learn something new.
Maray announced the news on Facebook in a post which read: “This Sunday at 1pm co-founder James will be going live on A Girl And A Gay in the Gym’s Instagram to do a lunchtime cook along. See below for your shopping list.”
Here’s what you’ll need to take part:
- Broccoli (tenderstem or whole)
- Bell peppers x2
- Cooked beetroots
- Sesame oil
- Sesame seeds
- Yoghurts
- Coriander
- Lemon
- Salt
Fans will be learning to make roasted broccoli with bell peppers and beetroot yoghurt with Maray co-founder James Bates.
The cook along will be held on the A Girl And A Gay in the Gym Instagram at 1pm on Sunday, April 26.
