Sundays are made for tucking into a big roast dinner but they do take quite a bit of effort to cook at home.
Sometimes you just don’t feel like going out either, especially when the weather turns cooler.
Now one Liverpool restaurant has answered the prayers of many by cooking roast dinners that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
Allerton Manor, in the picturesque setting of Allerton golf course in south Liverpool, has announced it will be offering customers a choice of three different collection times on a Sunday - 1pm, 3pm and 5pm - depending on when you prefer your roast. Each roast costs £13 and must be ordered online.
Choices include roast beef, roast ham and roast chicken, each served with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrot and swede, seasonal greens and roast gravy. Heaven.
Alternatively you can order a Vegan Wellington, with the same trimmings as the roasts plus vegan gravy, or classic beer battered fish and chunk chips, with mushy peas and tartare sauce. Check the website for menu updates and to order.
