Liverpool restaurant giving away free burritos this week

Liverpool has been busy with Christmas shoppers since stores reopened after lockdown and this week there’s a way people in the city centre can claim a free lunch - simply by getting into the festive spirit.

Tortilla on Lord Street is giving away burritos to customers this Friday and it couldn’t be easier to get one.

All you need to do is wear a Christmas jumper and make a £2 donation to Save the Children.

Sharing the initiative, manager Barrie Nelson said: “If a customer visits us between 12-2pm wearing their best Christmas jumper and makes a donation of £2 to Save the Children, their burrito is on us!”.

Donations can be made by texting TEAMBURRITO to 70050.

Once you’ve shown the team at Tortilla that you’ve made your donation, you will be able to choose a free medium burrito (one per customer).

Christmas Jumper Day takes place this Friday, December 11, with millions in the UK expected to wear a festive jumper and donate to Save the Children. You can find out more here.
