Dejan Lovren is missing from Liverpool's Super Cup squad for the clash with Chelsea due to illness.
The Croatia defender, who is attracting interest from Roma, as well as AC Milan, is looking increasingly likely to depart the club after falling to fourth in the pecking order, behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
The ECHO understands the club would take €15million (£13.9m) plus bonuses taking the deal up to €20m for the centre-back.
Lovren has been with Liverpool since arriving from Southampton in a £20m deal in summer 2014, and has divided supporters with his performances.
Andy Lonergan, who signed a one-year deal with Liverpool on Monday, is included in the squad.
Youngster Ki-Jana Hoever and Harvey Elliott have also travelled to Istanbul and will be included on the bench.
