Liverpool release Champions League final ticket details after Barcelona comeback

Liverpool have received an allocation of 16,613 tickets for the Champions League final.

The Reds will head to Madrid on June 1 following their stunning comeback against Barcelona on Tuesday night.

Liverpool trailed 3-0 from the first leg at the Nou Camp before fighting back at Anfield as Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum scored twice.

Flight and hotel prices have already rocketed following Liverpool's victory with tens of thousands of fans set to flock to the Spanish capital.

Liverpool have confirmed the allocation at Estadio Metropolitano, which has a capacity of 68,000.

The tickets are split into four categories, ranging from £513 to £60.

There are a minimal number of restricted view tickets within the allocation that are available for a smaller fee.

Fans who have attended all 12 home and away matches during this season's competition are guaranteed tickets.

A ballot will take place for season ticket holders, members and fan card holders who have attended six European matches so far this season.

Priority tickets are available from Tuesday May 14 while those successful in the ballot will be able to purchase theirs from Friday May 17.

Liverpool have urged fans without a ticket not to travel to Madrid that is unlikely to discourage supporters, who are expected to flock in their thousands.
