Liverpool have received a double injury boost ahead of the Carabao Cup tie against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners face a trip to Anfield following the draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday, in which captain Granit Xhaka due widespread criticism following his reaction to jeers from the crowd at the Emirates Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp's side, meanwhile, were entertaining Arsenal's bitter rivals Spurs on Sunday afternoon, earning a 2-1 win despite going behind to a goal from Harry Kane inside a minute.
A strike from Jordan Henderson and a penalty from Mohamed Salah were enough to earn all three points against Mauricio Pochettino's side, but things did not look to be going so well late on.
After scoring his penalty in the 75th minute, Salah was forced to limp off the pitch with just five minutes of the match remaining.
While on the bench, the Egyptian star had an ice pack wrapped around his ankle - and kept it on after returning to the pitch to celebrate the win following the final whistle.
Virgil van Dijk was also spotted sporting an ice pack on his leg, but Klopp stated that both players were fine and should be in contention to face Arsenal on Wednesday.
"Virgil has got a dead leg. It’s painful but he will be fine," Klopp told reporters.
"And Mo is his ankle, it gets sore the longer the game goes but it is not a massive issue."
The club posted an image on Twitter of Salah back in recovery mode in training on Monday afternoon, prompting relief from Liverpool fans.
