Liverpool react with frustration after 'zero reaction' in draw with Crystal Palace

Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to express their disappointment in the boring goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

The Reds missed the chance to move to within four points of Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place as they looked sluggish and nervous after the 5-2 hammering by Real Madrid on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

Diogo Jota started in a Reds attack that looked toothless without Darwin Nunez as he missed out with the shoulder injury he sustained in the win at Newcastle.

As supporters watched their beloved Reds fail to close gap the gap on the Champions League spots in the Premier League, they took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

One fan said: "The whole team - management, coaches, players, the rest of the staffs have lost the killer mentality, any team can bully our players off the ball and all we will do is smile."

This supporter tried to remain positive, but wasn't impressed with the Liverpool midfield that started the match.

"Look, people will call me mental for saying that’s not a bad point away from home but if you look at the side we put out and specifically the midfield, then I make a fair argument. Milner/Henderson/Keita is not a top four competing midfield. Nowhere near."

A 'difficult watch' says this Liverpool supporter: "Hard to be positive in any way about that performance. Alisson reliable as ever but that was a difficult game to watch."

Have Liverpool missed Thiago in the midfield? This fan certainly thinks so: "We have missed Thiago, we have zero creativity in midfield without him."

Not concede five at home to then putting in a performance like the one at Selhurst Park means questions have to be asked.

"When you’ve been torn apart at home like we were last game and then go and produce what those players did tonight, you have to question them. Zero reaction."
