Greene King pubs across the UK have launched a giant festive food challenge in time for Christmas - including in Merseyside branches.
We all know it's not Christmas until you’re stuffing yourself with pigs in blankets, and now the national pub brand has made it easier.
Named the Jingle Bells House, the challenge offers two giant pigs in blankets wrapped in large Yorkshire puddings, served with roast potatoes topped with chopped pigs in blankets, crumbled stuffing, cheese sauce and served with gravy.
The festive challenge is available at branches offering a Flaming Grill menu, including the Jolly Miller in West Derby, Mersey Clipper in Birkenhead, Meadows in Liverpool and many more.
Jane Byron, brand controller at Flaming Grill, said: “ Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and celebrate with seasonal food and drinks.
“We’ve also introduced the limited edition festive wings challenge - two kilograms of crispy chicken wings, topped with chopped pigs in blankets, crumbled stuffing, oozy boozy cheese sauce and cranberry sauce."
Anyone who takes on either challenge and wins will receive a certificate to celebrate.
