Liverpool 'prepare £30m bid' for Yves Bissouma in January transfer raid

Liverpool have reached the second international break of the season, and attention is already switching to matters off the pitch.

In terms of actual football, the Reds are in second place in the Premier League after their first seven games, and are also top of their Champions League group.

Despite this, rumours continue to swirl around who Jurgen Klopp will look to bring to the club in the next transfer window when it reopens in January.

Here, we round up the latest transfer rumours surrounding players who are being tipped to either move to Anfield, or move in the opposite direction.

Who?

Goncalo Guedes, Valencia forward.

Where?

Fichajes, Spanish news outlet, via Sportsmole .

What?

According to the report, Guedes has emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool and Arsenal.

The report states that Valencia’s financial situation could mean they would need to sell some of their star players, including Guedes.

It goes on to say that Liverpool, as well as Arsenal, are ready to step in should Valencia decide they need to part ways with Guedes over the next 12 months.

Guedes still has two years left on his contract at Valencia, and already has two goals and two assists to his name in La Liga this term.

Who?

Darwin Nunez, Benfica forward.

Where?

Daily Star .

What?

According to the report, Manchester City have the edge over Liverpool in the race to sign the 22-year-old.

The report states that as well as the Reds and City, fellow Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in Nunez.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the forward, who has scored six goals in eight appearances this term.

It has also been claimed that City are convinced they will have the first chance to sign Nunez next summer, thanks to a good relationship with Benfica.

Nunez is thought to have a £125m release clause, but the report states that the striker could be sold for a fee in the region of £70m.

Yves Bissouma, Brighton midfielder.

Where?

Journalist Ekrem Konur.

What?

According to the report, Liverpool are one of a host of Premier League clubs in talks to sign the Mali international in January.

It goes on to say that Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are the other clubs interested in signing Bissouma.

However, Konur goes further and says that Bissouma has been on Klopp’s radar for a long time, despite his £30m valuation.

The report adds that Liverpool are preparing to make an offer to sign Bissouma in January, and are prepared to meet Brighton’s valuation of the player.
