Liverpool Premier League schedule and TV listing updated as historic fixture confirmed

Liverpool have had confirmed their latest raft of Premier League fixtures - and are set for an historic Saturday afternoon date live on television.

Three more games have been scheduled after the successful resumption of the top flight on Wednesday evening.

The Reds will host relegation-threatened Aston Villa on Sunday, July 5 with a 4.30pm kick-off.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Jurgen Klopp's side then travel to Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday, July 8 for an 8.15pm kick-off that will also be shown live on Sky Sports.

Liverpool will subsequently take on Burnley at Anfield on Saturday, July 11 at the regular time of 3pm.

However, the game will be shown live on BT Sport, making it the first 3pm Saturday league match involving Liverpool to be broadcast live that wasn't on the final day of the season.

Earlier in the Premier League era, the top flight finished the week after the Football League and therefore was allowed to show all final games simultaneously at 3pm on a Saturday. The last such occasion was in 2004.

Liverpool will resume their campaign at Everton on Sunday (7pm) before entertaining Crystal Palace on Wednesday (8.15pm) and Manchester City the following Thursday (8pm).
