Liverpool predicted XI vs Burnley as Jurgen Klopp tinkers with misfiring attack

Jurgen Klopp may make changes to his established forward line as Liverpool bid to return to form with the visit of Burnley.

The Reds are winless in four Premier League fixtures, scoring one goal and picking up three points in that time.

Liverpool's attacking deficiencies were laid bare invsthe 0-0 draw with Manchester United last Sunday. Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino Sadio Mane were uncharacteristically quiet once again as the Reds failed to break down United and gave up the best of the chances.

As such, Klopp may turn to a player who has been waiting in the wings for an opportunity as the Clarets come calling at Anfield.

Takumi Minamino could come into the starting line-up as the central player in the front three alongside Salah and Mane.

This would hand Firmino a chance to recharge his batteries and bring a fresh threat to the Premier League champions' misfiring attack.

In midfield, Gini Wijnaldum and Thiago may keep their places from the side which took on the Red Devils.

There could also be a welcome return to the centre of the park for Jordan Henderson, who has had to fill in at centre-back for the past two games.

That is because Joel Matip should feature alongside Fabinho in central defence, after the Cameroonian recommenced full training.

"Joel is in full training and now we have to make a decision [about Burnley]," Klopp told reporters on Wednesday.

"Yesterday he trained completely normal."

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson should continue at right-back and left-back respectively, while Alisson - one of the standout performers against United - should be handed the gloves.

Liverpool predicted XI to face Burnley: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson; Henderson, Thiago, Wijnaldum; Salah, Minamino, Mane.
