Liverpool player wages revealed - with Mohamed Salah's huge pay leading the way

Liverpool are right in the Premier League title race heading into the business end of the season.

Big money signings in the shape of Virgil Van Dijk and Alisson have inspired Liverpool's challenge for the title, alongside other new additions such as Naby Keita , Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri .

During the 2017/18 season, Jurgen Klopp 's side had a wage bill of £208million - the third highest in the Premier League - while their spending prior to the 2018/19 campaign amounted to £163million.

Meanwhile, young talent in the shape of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez have flourished, despite struggling with recent injuries, with both signing new long-term deals at Anfield.
