Liverpool player ratings - Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane brilliant but Naby Keita stars against Huddersfield

Alisson Becker 7

Made a good save to keep out a Bacuna drive but main concern was not catching a chill in these miserable conditions. It's almost May, for flip's sake!

Trent Alexander-Arnold 7

A couple of early wobbles defensively but soon found his stride at both ends of the pitch, not least with the assist for the third.

Dejan Lovren 7

Stuck to his task up against Mounie, but didn't appreciate having his head stood on by the clumsy Huddersfield forward first half. Steady throughout.

Liverpool owner John Henry returns to Anfield as Reds take on Huddersfield Town

Virgil van Dijk 7

Sauntered forward to help spark the second moments after covering for a Robertson misjudgement. A proper team-mate. Got an ovation for not being injured second half.

Andy Robertson 8

His inviting crosses for the second and fifth mean he now has 11 Premier League assists for the season. Grew into the game defensively, too.

Gini Wijnaldum 7

Seemed to struggle with the blustery weather during the opening exchanges but soon started to get matters under control. A measured outing before being substituted.

Jurgen Klopp on 'unbelievable' Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Liverpool return

Jordan Henderson 7

Always looked to keep Liverpool moving and his distribution was on point. Wasted one good effort towards half-time but produced a trademark cross for Mane's second.

Naby Keita 9

Scored the fastest Liverpool goal in Premier League history after 15 seconds to continue his impressive form and made a continued impact both defensively and offensively. Excellent.

Mohamed Salah 8

Saw a lot of the ball down the right and warmed the palms of Lossl with one effort first half and lobbed in the third before the break. Close to another worldie in the second half before tapping in his second. At times unplayable.

Daniel Sturridge 6

A surprise starter, dropped ridiculously deep first half and barely saw the ball in the penalty area as a result. Slightly better second half. Subbed.

Sadio Mane 8

Took his two headers brilliantly even if, like so many of his colleagues, was playing hugely within himself. Denied a hat-trick by the width of a post.

Substitutes

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (for Wijnaldum 73) 7

Almost marked his emotional and long-awaited return with a goal.

Xherdan Shaqiri (for Sturridge 73) 7

Revelled in the fact he was actually getting some more minutes.

Joe Gomez (for Alexander-Arnold 87)

Hey Joe.
