Liverpool player ratings from Napoli clash at Anfield as James Milner impresses

Liverpool need a point to be sure of a place in the Champions League knockout stages after a draw with Napoli at Anfield.

The Reds dominated Carlo Ancelotti's men for the large part but fell behind to a Dries Mertens strike.

Napoli had frustrated the hosts but Liverpool were level in the second half when Dejan Lovren rose highest to head in a corner.

Liverpool stay top of Group E and travel to Red Bull Salzburg in their final group encounter.

But with Napoli facing whipping boys Genk. a point is likely to be needed to ensure a place in the last 16.
