Liverpool player ratings as Takumi Minamino and young star shine against Bologna

Alisson Becker 6

Surely the quietest half-hour of his Anfield career and was able to take in the view of nearby Lake Geneva.

Neco Williams 6

Typically bustling display up and down the wing from the right-back as he improved his sharpness.

Ibrahima Konate 6

More minutes for the £36million signing alongside two centre-back partners and used the ball economically.

Joe Gomez 6

Looked to play out from the back on occasion and appeared to have few issues with fitness and pace on the rare moments it was required.

Kostas Tsimikas 7

Regularly involved going forward and whipped in some fine deliveries from the left flank. Forced a save with one strong second-half shot.

Fabinho 6

First appearance of pre-season, the Brazilian eased his way back in with some efforts from range.

Curtis Jones 6

One mazy first-half run almost resulted in a chance and saw second-half effort deflected wide. Solid enough.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 6

Back in midfield, struggled to find his range with passes from deep but kept at it and was more dangerous nearer the Bologna penalty area.

Xherdan Shaqiri 7

Fantastic pass created the opener for Minamino and demonstrated a few flashes of quality on the right flank.

Roberto Firmino 6

One cheeky backheel wasn't quite strong enough to threaten a goal and nodded an inviting Tsimikas cross wide.

Takumi Minamino 7

More encouraging down the left flank, a busy performer and took his goal very well. Will have benefited form another extended run-out.

Adrian (for Alisson 31) 6

His admiration of Lake Geneva was interrupted by having to make one routine save.

Leighton Clarkson (for Fabinho 31) 6

Careful in possession and kept Liverpool ticking over in the engine room.

Kaide Gordon (for Shaqiri 31) 7

Another lively half-hour from the youngster who has left his calling card this pre-season.

Divock Origi (for Firmino 31) 6

Saw a header cleared off the line, hit the post with a penalty and volleyed a cross wide. Just another trademark Origi evening.

Ben Woodburn (for Williams 44) 6

Won the spot kick having drew an obvious foul from the veteran Medel.

Owen Beck (for Tsimikas 44) 6

Good minutes for the young left-back.

Nat Phillips (for Gomez 44) 6

Could be seen on the pitch for the final 16 minutes.
