Liverpool player celebrations after beating Manchester United said it all about this incredible team

Sixteen points clear at the top. Thirty points clear of Manchester United. Unbeaten in 39 Premier League games. Unbeaten at Anfield in the league in 1,001 days.

You would not have blamed Jurgen Klopp and his record-breaking Liverpool team from celebrating wildly after beating bitter rivals United 2-0 to continue their remarkable runs and, more importantly, after taking a huge step closer to a first domestic title since 1990.

But the beauty about this Reds side, which will almost certainly go down as one of the best in the club's history, is that they never look further ahead than the next match.

And that once more was underlined after goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah sent United back up the East Lancs Road with their tail between their legs.

There were no histrionics as the Klopp and his players lapped up the applause of the adoring Kop, who allowed itself to sing, quite understandably, 'we're gonna win the league', after Salah settled a match that should have been settled much earlier.

The celebrations said it all about this team - business as usual, on to the next one, until the ultimate prize is achieved.
