A Liverpool Pizza Hut has been chosen as one of five stores to sell limited edition vegan pizzas.
The Liverpool city centre site will join restaurants in London and Luton as Pizza Hut trials its first ever plant-based pizza toppings.
The chain has teamed up with Beyond Meat to create plant-based pizzas including the Beyond Three-Meat Supreme, Beyond Italian Style Sausage Supreme, Beyond Beef Sizzler and more.
The two brands have come together to create several new pizza offerings that feature Beyond Meat’s range of new plant-based protein toppings: Beyond Italian Style Sausage, Beyond Pork Crumbles and Beyond Beef Crumbles.
The toppings have been carefully developed to offer the same taste and flavour profile as Pizza Hut’s traditional meat toppings.
The pizza toppings were developed in response to the growing customer demand for more plant-based options.

The new range of Beyond Meat Pizzas is available at Liverpool’s city centre Pizza Hut while stocks last.
