Liverpool pianist, 12, shines on Good Morning Britain with amazing skills

A 12-year-old Liverpool boy has become a viral sensation after entertaining crowds with his "perfect pitch" in Liverpool ONE.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Harrison Crane shined with his piano playing skills, performing classic 90s dance anthems in the studio.

Music-lover Harrison has been having piano lessons since he was five years old and went viral for his musical renditions on Liverpool's much-loved pianos.

The 12-year-old, from Ormskirk, appeared alongside his mum, Eleanor, dad, Jonathan and little sister, Mia to talk about the "crazy" reaction to his piano skills.

Speaking about his song choices with hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray, Harrison said: "It's unbelievable - 90s dance music is the best kind of music, it's so fun and upbeat.

"My dad plays it in the car.

"I worked out what everyone likes, really.

"I started having my lessons when I was five I think and went on from there."

Kate asked: "How did you go on to becoming this sensation?"

Harrison said: "The YouTube channel was started two years ago" and added "we didn't expect it to blow up this much."

It's not the first time Harrison has blown the public away after he stunned shoppers back in 2017 with an incredible rendition of I Giorni by Ludovico Einaudi.

Harrison's family don't play music.

Dad Jonathan said: "I can't believe how crazy it's gone."

The Liverpool ONE pianos have been a popular feature in the shopping complex since Tickle the Ivories launched almost ten years ago.

Speaking about hearing live music while being out and about, Adil said: "Those moments are really special."

Kate added: "It does create lovely moments... you take us into another world."

Harrison said: "It's amazing when you get the applause at the end."

The piano player revealed that in the future, he'd "like to go down the musical performer route".

Taking to a piano set up in the studio, Harrison performed a stunning version of Robert Miles' dance classic Children.

Adil said: "Harrison Crane everyone - remember where you saw him."

Once the talented 12-year-old had finished, Kate said to his family: "You must be so proud."
