Liverpool owner John Henry returns to Anfield as Reds take on Huddersfield Town

Liverpool's principal owner John W Henry will be in attendance at Anfield when the Reds host Huddersfield on Friday night.

The American is in town to watch Jurgen Klopp's side take on the rock-bottom Terriers as they aim to regain top spot in the Premier League.

Victory for Jurgen Klopp's men sends the Reds two points clear of Manchester City ahead of the champions' trip to Burnley on Sunday afternoon.

Daniel Sturridge makes his first start since January with Roberto Firmino sidelined after a muscle problem, while Dejan Lovren partners Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Reds' defence.

Huddersfield will spend next season in the Championship after amassing just 14 points so far this term and Henry will watch on at Anfield with the home side huge favourites for the three points.

With the Reds still in the hunt for Champions League and Premier League glory as the season ticks closer towards May, the current situation at Anfield will have been exactly what Henry would have wanted when he took over the club with Fenway Sports Group back in October 2010.
