Liverpool owner John Henry forced to walk on motorway to Champions League stadium in Madrid due to severe traffic problems

Liverpool owner John Henry was spotted in Madrid walking up the motorway alongside Anfield legends Ian Rush and Kenny Dalglish.

All of them, whose magnitude as part of the Reds history and today is indescribable, were pictured abandoning their lifts to the Estadio Metropolitano as .

They walked the final 10 minutes of their journey simply because traffic was so bad and stacked up on the carriageway they almost had no other option.

It shows their incredible desire to soak up every bit of this unbelievable atmosphere in the Spanish capital with thousands of Liverpool fans singing and cheering on their beloved team.

The travelling Kop has been in wonderful spirits ahead of the huge match.

And supporters put on an unbelievable spectacle in the Plaza Felipe II as BOSS Night got underway on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool are here at a consecutive European Cup final and will be aiming to bring the trophy back to Merseyside for the sixth time.
