Liverpool are being linked with a move for Juventus and USA midfielder Weston McKennie.
The Reds have been credited with an interest in a host of midfielders in recent months. Names such as Jude Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez, Sofyan Amrabat and most recently Moises Caicedo have been tipped to make the switch to Anfield.
But the fact remains that the only midfielder Liverpool have brought in since signing Thiago Alcantara in the summer of 2020 is Arthur Melo, who arrived on a season-long loan from Juventus on deadline day in September. And now a new report has claimed that the Reds may return to the Serie A side for one of Arthur's midfield team-mates.

According to the Mail Online , Liverpool are looking at the possibility of signing McKennie in the January transfer window. But it is also stated that this would be on a loan deal rather than a permanent buy.
It is an open secret that the Reds' top target is England and Borussia Dortmund star Bellingham. But the report states that they are open to the idea of bringing in reinforcements on loan in the New Year, too.
Reports from Italy have previously stated that Juventus are looking to let McKennie leave the club in January. The likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old, who has made 17 appearances for Juve so far this season.
