Liverpool ONE restaurant YO! Sushi has announced it has extended its 'Blue Light' discount to 50% off for all emergency service workers, NHS staff and Armed Forces this month.
YO! Sushi usually offers 20% but has decided to increase the discount during the Christmas period.
Valid from December 20-31, the increased discount has been put in place as a way of saying thank you to those working in these sectors.
Alyson, HR director at YO!, said: “We are so proud to have the chance to say thank you to our hard-working heroes during the festive period.
"Christmas is a season of giving and we’d like to give back to those who do so much for others, not just now but all year round.
“Whether it’s popping in for lunch with a colleague or enjoying a meal with friends and family, we hope this small gesture shows our support and gratitude for all that they do.”
In order to receive the discount, customers need to visit the Blue Light website or Defence Discount Service to secure a code, which needs to be shown to a YO! member of staff when paying the bill.
The code is also available on the Blue Light or Defence Discount Service app. The offer is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays only.
