Liverpool has never looked more beautiful as the city lights up for Christmas this evening.
Despite having no official switch on event with a big countdown, Liverpool ONE welcomed Christmas with a bang - and a whole load of stunning lights and performances.
Hundreds of people turned up to see just what was on offer tonight, as the ONE Big Christmas Street Party got underway.
Running from 4pm to 7pm, Liverpool ONE was flooded with magical things to do, including performances by panto stars, live music from LIMF’s award-winning academy and festive tipples from Bar Hutte .
Liverpool ONE also welcomed the arrival of Polar Adventure , the family Christmas experience which features a ride on the Christmas Express.
There were even stops for hot chocolate, a Polar pop-up party, Christmas postcard decorating and storytime in festive yurts along the way too.
Polar Adventure also saw a range of stalls selling food, drinks and decorations arrive at Chavasse Park , with families making the most and enjoying some festive tipples to keep warm.
