Liverpool ONE is bringing back its giant spider which will crawl through the city centre

Liverpool ONE has confirmed its giant spider will once again return to the city centre where it will roam the streets.

It is all part of the centre's Halloween events which also includes a Zombie-themed virtual reality game, a street party and more.

The events will begin on October 14 and will run right through until November 3.

A giant inflatable spider will hover over the roof of Starbucks on Paradise Street alongside spooky sounds which will echo throughout Liverpool ONE .

As part of a street party hosted by Radio City there will also be a Aracnobot walking down South John Street.

It will no doubt attract the attention of shoppers, especially if last year is anything to go by, when huge crowds turned out to see the spider.

Donna Howitt, marketing director at Liverpool ONE, said: “We’re delighted to bring customers a whole host of free things to do this half term. We can’t wait to kick off the spooky Halloween celebrations, with something for every member of the family to enjoy!”
