Mohamed Salah has sent a message to Liverpool fans after signing a new contract with the Anfield club.
The Egyptian had just one year left on his previous deal and many supporters feared he may leave the club in the next year if an agreement couldn't be reached. But Salah has now become the highest-paid player in the Reds' history after committing his future to the club for three more years.
It comes as details of his bumper pay rise have come to light following tense negotiations between the player and club. And Salah has also spoken out about Darwin Nunez replacing Sadio Mane in Liverpool's attack following the Senegal international's move to Bayern Munich.

Salah's message to fans
Mohamed Salah insists it is the quest for trophies which drives him on after signing a new contract with Liverpool.
The Egyptian penned the new agreement while on holiday with clips shared by the Reds on social media show the forward enjoying some sunshine as he signed on the dotted line. And Salah has now opened up on his relationship with the club as he insisted he wants to continue winning trophies with the Reds.
In a statement of intent following the new deal, Salah said: "We have won good trophies together and I think we can do it again."
Contract details emerge
Mohamed Salah has become the highest paid player in Liverpool's history after signing terms on a new contract worth in excess of £350,000 a week.
Negotiations between the club and their star forward had been long drawn out with the Reds unwilling to break their strict wage structure to keep hold of Salah. But an agreement has finally been reached on a new that deal will run until 2025.
The Reds also insist the structure of the deal means the headline figure is based on success and appearance bonuses – and still falls within the wage structure.
Salah opens up on Nunez
Mohamed Salah has admitted he will "miss" Sadio Mane following the forward's move to Bayern Munich, but he is "excited" to play alongside his replacement Darwin Nunez.
The Reds ace opened up on his new strike partner after agreeing to extend his stay with the Anfield outfit. And Salah has clearly been impressed with Nunez, saying he "had a good season last season and played very well against us, home and away".
And while the pair are bound to have a friendly rivalry, Salah says he wishes Nunez "all the best to score many goals for us".
