The UK is home to many vibrant cities that have plenty to see and do, but the readers of Condé Nast Traveller have voted for their favourite in 2021.
Voters judged the cities, including our beloved Liverpool, on their nightlife, restaurants and friendliness. Each received a total score out of 100.
Liverpool came in at an impressive third with a score of 89.05, only 0.44 points behind second place Edinburgh and 0.63 points behind London which was awarded the top spot with a score of 89.68.

It’s no surprise Liverpool is in the top three, with the city having a great choice of restaurants, bars, and things to do, plus people from all over the world travel here.
And let’s face it, Scousers are among the friendliest people on the planet.
In 2020, Liverpool was named tenth on the list with a score of 77.23. Could next year be our year to come out on top?
