Liverpool has been named one of the best cities in Europe - for single people.
Big 7 Travel has revealed just where in Europe is best for dating, naming several cities in the UK - though Stockholm in Sweden came in at number one.
The ranking criteria includes data taken from dating apps such as Tinder and Badoo, the percentage of single people living in the area, and the quality of the local dating scene as voted for by Big 7’s audience.
Liverpool beat the likes of Edinburgh, Athens and Aiya Napa.
Big 7 Travel said: “With 56 million matches made of Tinder last Christmas in Liverpool alone, this lively city is a hotspot for love, dating and everything in between.”
