Klopp’s options for Ajax
While the most disappointing aspect of Liverpool ’s 1-1 draw with Brighton was that they lost two points in stoppage time, the fact that yet another player sustained an injury was not far behind.
On this occasion it was James Milner who fell victim to the Reds’ relentless schedule. As many of the club’s absent players are either centre-backs or midfielders, Jurgen Klopp will not find it easy to shuffle his pack and give players the rest they need.
Next up are Ajax at Anfield tomorrow night. With the squad ravaged by injury, who will Klopp select in his starting XI for the Champions League match?

Contract decisions looming
Liverpool supporters will be fully aware that Gini Wijnaldum is out of contract at the end of this season, and might leave the club on a free transfer.
However, many may not realise that multiple key players will only have two years left on their current deals when next summer rolls around.
Many of the men in question – including the regular front three players, captain Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk – are undoubtedly key parts of the Reds’ first choice team at present.
But will they be in three years’ time? There’s plenty of tough decisions for Michael Edwards to wrestle with between now and 2023, and Matt Addison has assessed what might happen to the nine players whose contracts will expire at the end of 2022/23 .
Liverpool to get taste of future shift?
December is a very busy month for Liverpool, with eight games to be played before the year is out. And one of the broadcasters is looking to impress with an eye on showing more games in future .
While some of the matches will have fans in attendance, the majority of supporters will still have to follow the action via television.
However, where fans in the UK are used to tuning into Sky or BT, three of Liverpool’s matches in December will be shown by Amazon Prime. The enormous looking match against Tottenham is one of them.
Amazon will be looking to snap up more of the TV slots from the Premier League when the next set of rights comes up for contract in 2022. Could a big shift be on the horizon?
