Focus now switches to the last 16 draw which is set to take place on Monday morning in Nyon, Switzerland.
Liverpool could face some of Europe's biggest names in the last 16, including Barcelona or Atletico Madrid.
However, it is worth noting that the Reds cannot face English teams such as Manchester City or Chelsea, as both of those sides won their respective groups.
And according to the draw probabilities developed by eminga.github.io, the Reds are most likely to face Borussia Monchengladbach in the last 16 than another side.
The German outfit, who grabbed second ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk, despite a defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, have a 18.38% chance of facing Liverpool, according to the permutations and simulated probabilities.
The team next in line with the best chance of facing the Reds in the last 16 is another German side, RB Leipzig.
The Bundesliga side saw off Manchester United 3-2 to lead Group H to secure second place, and have a 15.99% chance of facing the reigning Premier League champions.
Atletico Madrid have a 14.23% chance of facing Liverpool, while the chances of the Reds meeting FC Barcelona are 14.04%.
While there is a 13.43% chance the Reds will meet Lazio, a 13.30% chance of them meeting Sevilla, and a 10.63% chance Porto will be Liverpool's opponents in the last 16.
