Liverpool 'continue to monitor' £50m-rated midfielder

Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo after being linked with a move for him in the summer.

According to Football Insider , Chelsea are said to be planning a to make a move for the talented midfielder as Graham Potter will know the talents of Caicedo with the pair having worked together at the Amex Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly an admirer of Caicedo as the Reds were said to have registered an interest in the 20-year-old before the close of the summer transfer window. But Brighton held firm and rebuffed any interest.

Darwin Nunez and Luis Suarez question asked

Darwin Nunez lined up for Uruguay in their shock defeat to Iran on Friday in Austria as their national media question what the best system is to get the best out of the Liverpool striker.

El Pais in Uruguay said of Nunez and Suarez: "They both felt comfortable playing together; It is highly likely that they will start the World Cup as starters, it remains to be seen with what system, because Darwin loses a certain gravitation playing on the outside.
