Liverpool teenager Stefan Bajcetic has followed a breakthrough summer by signing a contract extension.
The 17-year-old has put pen to paper on an improved long-term deal with the Reds having impressed when featuring for the first team during pre-season. The agreement is part of a routine in line with the player's expected pathway at the club.
Bajcetic, who has been transformed from a centre-back into a defensive midfielder, enjoyed minutes during the friendlies against Manchester United and Crystal Palace in the Far East, along with warm-up games against RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and Strasbourg.

He was also given a first involvement in a senior competitive matchday squad when being named by Jurgen Klopp on the bench for the Premier League opener at Fulham last weekend.
Bajcetic arrived at Liverpool in February 2021 from Celta Vigo - the last signing made by the Reds' Academy before new Brexit rules were introduced - and penned his first professional contract a month after turning 17 last November.
The Spain under-18 international, whose father played for the Serbia national team, made his debut for Liverpool's U18s aged 16 and had starting stepping up to the U23s before his campaign last season was ended early by injury in February. Bajcetic will continue his development playing for Barry Lewtas's rebranded U21 side in Premier League 2 this term.
