Liverpool midfielder Fabinho joins host of Premier League stars in BT Sport prediction boycott

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is the latest Premier League star to tear up BT Sport's script for the 2019/20 season.

The British broadcaster unveiled the detailed script - which charters the precise fortunes of every club in the top flight over the course of the forthcoming campaign - earlier this week.

According to the painstaking research, points tally in their Premier League history this coming season and finish as runners-up to Manchester City.

The Reds' defence of the Champions League is set to end at the quarter-final stage with Barcelona gaining a measure of revenge for May's semi-final by knocking out Klopp's side over two legs.

But Fabinho is unhappy with this outcome and took to social media to get involved in the #Unscripted movement.

The 25-year-old shared a picture reading the 70-page book of predictions followed by a video of himself boxing it in order to destroy it.

The Brazilian has joined a host of players who have destroyed the script which was produced in-part by leading data analysts Squawka.

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford set the book alight, while Man City defender Kyle Walker tore it up.

Aston Villa's Jack Grealish and Everton's Jordan Pickford have also shared videos destroying the script.

Liverpool will get the Premier League season underway on 9 August as they host Norwich City at Anfield.
