A Liverpool man was charged as part of an investigation into "county lines" drug trafficking in Barrow.
Yacine Djalti of Whitney Road, Woolton, was charged with offences in relation to the supply of class A drugs and human trafficking.
He was also charged with offences of criminal damage, possession of a bladed article and a racially aggravated public order offence.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "This is part of the ongoing action to tackle suspected county lines activity in Barrow.
"Djalti appeared at Furness and District Magistrates' court yesterday (August 19)
"He was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on September 10.
"A teenage child was also safeguarded during the operation."
