A Liverpool man was charged with resisting arrest after he was found camping on a beach in North Wales.
Police said a 38-year-old from Liverpool had been charged and would appear before magistrates after camping on Porth Oer in Gwynedd on Sunday.
A police spokesman said: "Following community concerns raised to the local policing team, a 38-year-old man from Liverpool was found camping on Porth Oer (Whistling Sands) yesterday."
The man was alleged to have resisted arrest and to be in breach of bail conditions, reports North Wales Live.
The spokesman added: "He was taken to our Caernarfon custody suite and will appear before magistrates this morning charged with resisting arrest."
The force said action would also be taken over the allegation of breaching bail conditions.
District inspector Matt Geddes said: "The Gwynedd South team have been out over the weekend conducting road checks and premises checks in support of the government restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"These checks will continue, so think carefully before travelling and be prepared for your local Policing Team to ask you what you’re up to.
"The above incident is an isolated one, and the overwhelming majority of people we have had contact with are not only complying with the restrictions, but both are understanding and supportive of our actions when stopped and spoken to."
