Liverpool loanee Liam Millar insists he won't rule out return to Kilmarnock

Liam Millar admits he won’t rule out returning to Rugby Park next season.

The Liverpool loanee made his first start for Killie against Celtic – and is thirsty for more.

He had never played in front of more than 9000 fans for Liverpool Under-23s, but he seemed to handle the almost 60,000 Celtic Park crowd just fine.

And now he insists he has a decision to make on his future. He said: “Of course it’s frustrating being on the bench as you want to play all the time.

“But I respect what the gaffer is trying to do with me, I have been patient and waited on my opportunity – and I think I took it well.

“I haven’t had talks about my future yet but I want to be able to come back next season, this is a great club.

“It’s something I would definitely be open to if the opportunity was there.”
