Liverpool told to move for Hazard
Mark Lawrenson says Liverpool should investigate a late move for Eden Hazard.
Hazard is set to leave Chelsea this summer, with Real Madrid his most likely option.
Yet, when asked about the prospect of Liverpool re-signing Philippe Coutinho, Reds legend Lawrenson said they should instead target Hazard.
Lawrenson told Goal : “It’s not necessarily bridges burned, I just don’t think they need him back.
“I think Coutinho needs to be the number one player in the team, which is why he has struggled a little bit at Barca.
“If Chelsea suddenly said give us £100m for Eden Hazard, you would take him in a heartbeat.
“But I think he might be learning Spanish as we speak!”
Tripper value
Manchester United have been told that it will take £30m to sign Kieran Trippier.
The Red Devils are on the lookout for new signings in defence, having struggled at the back all season.
With Antonio Valencia set to leave in the summer, right-back is a pressing concern, and Tottenham Hotspur seem willing to part with Trippier for £30m.
