Injury crisis starting to ease
Paul Gorst: Judging from Jurgen Klopp's comments on Friday, it sounds like the injury crisis is starting to ease for Liverpool.
They do remain without Virgil van Dijk, however, and with the games coming thick and fast over the next couple of weeks, I would be mindful of throwing Joel Matip back into the action straight away.
So my back four sees Fabinho keep his place alongside Joe Gomez with the usual suspects at right and left-back. Adrian continues to deputise for Alisson, despite the positive injury update on the Brazil goalkeeper this week.

My midfield three would be Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum.
Up top, I'm opting to rest Roberto Firmino for Diogo Jota and I'm going to try the in-form Sadio Mane down the centre with Mohamed Salah stationed on that right side.
My team (4-3-3): Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Fabinho, Robertson; Henderson, Thiago, Wijnaldum; Salah, Mane, Jota.
Biggest overhaul comes in midfield
Ian Doyle: When in doubt, keep them out.
Liverpool have a number of injury concerns and Jurgen Klopp has indicated he won’t be taking any risks given the hectic schedule of his team.
But that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be any changes for the visit of Sheffield United.
Not in defence, though. The back five that kept a clean sheet at Ajax can stay the same.
The biggest overhaul comes in midfield.
Jordan Henderson must start after an impressive second-half showing in Holland while Gini Wijnaldum is another given.
Who takes the third slot is interesting considering there are worries over almost every other midfielder. Hey, it might mean Liverpool start with just those two.
But hopefully Naby Keita is available for another opportunity.
Up top, surely Roberto Firmino has to rest at some point. He can have his place taken by Diogo Jota, leaving Sadio Mane to rampage through the middle.
My team (4-3-3): Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Gomez, Robertson; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita; Salah, Mane, Jota.
Perfect chance to change up formation
Matt Addison: With plenty of matches to come, it's time to make a couple of changes - and not only in personnel.
This game represents the perfect chance to use the 4-2-3-1 formation that suits the players that Liverpool have best when they are at home to teams like Sheffield United, whose game plan will be to sit deep and contain.
Rhian Brewster and Ollie McBurnie are threats going forward, but Fabinho and Gomez will be able to deal with them.
Alisson is unlikely to be risked, so Adrian stays in goal, and the full-backs can go again.
*How would you line up against Sheffield United? Have your say in the comments section.
In midfield, my two are Jordan Henderson, who must play having only had 45 minutes against Ajax, and then Thiago Alcantara, who will start if he is fit. If the Spaniard misses out, then give Naby Keita a chance in that role.
Diogo Jota gets the nod ahead of Takumi Minamino to supplement the regular front three, who will all start given their premeditated removal from the Johan Cruyff Arena on the hour mark on Wednesday.
My team(4-2-3-1): Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Gomez, Robertson; Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Firmino, Jota; Mane
Who is more fit to start in midfield?
Peter Harris: Jurgen Klopp is getting to a stage where he would prefer to rotate his squad almost constantly. That's not possible in defence, as the same backline that earned a clean sheet away to Ajax should remain in place for the visit of Sheffield United.
In midfield, Jordan Henderson also keeps his place as he is proving crucial during a time of increased pressure on some Reds players. Likewise for Gini Wijnaldum.
Then it's a question of who is more fit to start - Thiago or Naby Keita? If the Spanish international, he starts. He'll be needing some minutes as no doubt he'll be a star to be rested midweek against FC Midtjyllandin the Champions League.
Had Firmino ran the show against Ajax, he would have done a lot to stake a claim from the off today but he had another unusually quiet game before Klopp's tactical triple swap of his front line.
Diogo Jota has looked ready to take a place in the first XI for couple weeks now and today would be ideal, alleviating any fears fans may still hold after the club allowed Rhian Brewster to leave for today's opponents.
My team (4-3-1-2): Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Gomez, Robertson, Henderson, Thiago, Wijnaldum, Jota, Salah, Mane
