Mark Wakefield: On a personal level I've found it difficult to get too excited about tonight's game in truth, mainly because of the proposed European Super League.

Anyway, for this game I think two things are clear. Thiago Alcantara has to start and so does Diogo Jota.
It was a bizarre call to leave them both out against Real Madrid, but that cannot continue and they both have to start, it's that simple.
As for the rest of the team it pretty much picks itself, or certainly the back five does, anyway.
In midfield I've gone with Gini Wijnaldum alongside Thiago and Fabinho, although part of me did consider Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for a moment.
Then up front Mohamed Salah is an obvious selection, and I've decided to go with Roberto Firmino and drop Sadio Mane.
The Reds No.10 has been out of form for a while now, while Firmino did show glimpses against Real of what he's all about.
