Liverpool line-up: Confirmed starting XI for Champions League Final vs Tottenham - Roberto Firmino starts

Roberto Firmino has been passed fit to start for Liverpool in the Champions League Final against Tottenham.

The Brazilian, who had been a doubt with a groin injury, has done enough at the Marbella training camp and in the days before the final to prove himself ready to start, meaning Divock Origi drops out after scoring twice vs Barcelona in the semi-final, second leg.

Jordan Henderson and Giorginio Wijnaldum get the nod ahead of James Milner in midfield, with Fabinho starting just behind the pair, as Naby Keita misses out with an adductor injury.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane flank Firmino, the former desperate to make up for a chance missed when he was forced off injured in the Kiev final against Real Madrid a year ago.

Here is the team Jurgen Klopp has named as they look to win the club’s sixth European Cup…

Starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Firmino

Subs: Mignolet, Lovren, Gomez, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shaqiri, Brewster, Origi, Kelleher
