Liverpool line up confirmed for Wolves with one change and Harvey Elliott on bench

Adam Lallana starts for Liverpool as they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The former Southampton captain makes his sixth start of the campaign in Jurgen Klopp's midfield alongside Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson, who both maintain their place after the Boxing Day rout of Leicester at the King Power.

Lallana is the only change for Sunday's game with Naby Keita dropping to the bench alongside Academy trio Harvey Elliott, Neco Williams and Curtis Jones.

That means Alisson starts in goal behind a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

The front three remains Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino with James Milner, Divock Origi and Adrian completing the substitutes' bench.

Xherdan Shaqiri misses out on the matchday squad due to a slight muscle strain.

Subs: Adrian, Milner, Keita, Origi, Jones, Elliott, Williams.

Wolves: Patricio; Bennett, Coady, Kilman; Jonny, Dendoncker, Neves, Joao Moutinho; Vinagre, Pedro Neto, Jota.

Subs: Saïss, Otasowie, Traoré, Doherty, Cutrone, Ruddy, Jiménez.
