Thiago Alcantara makes his first start of the season as Liverpool are entertained by Leeds United.
The Spain international slots in the midfield alongside Fabinho and Harvey Elliott as the Reds play their first Premier League game at a full house at Elland Road since 2004.
Elliott had withdrawn from England Under-21 duty earlier this week as a precaution but has been passed fit to start his third successive game for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Captain Jordan Henderson starts on the bench with Naby Keita, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all included in a midfield-heavy list of substitutes.

Diogo Jota, as expected, comes in for the hamstrung Roberto Firmino with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah also in the front three on the left and right respectively.
FIFA's clearing of Klopp's Brazil contingent on Friday evening also means Alisson Becker starts in goal behind a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.
