Liverpool line up confirmed for Genk clash as Jurgen Klopp rotates big guns for Man City

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino drop to the substitutes' bench as Liverpool host Genk at Anfield in the Champions League.

Divock Origi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come into the side in place of the attacking duo as Jurgen Klopp makes six changes in total from the team that beat Aston Villa 2-1 on Saturday.

Joe Gomez partners Virgil van Dijk at the centre of Liverpool's defence as James Milner slots in left-back with Andy Robertson on the bench.

The versatile veteran will captain the side in the absence of Jordan Henderson, who misses out completely as he recovers from illness ahead of Sunday's showdown with Manchester City.

The midfield three is Fabinho, Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita with 18-year-old Curtis Jones part of the bench as a reward for his performance as a substitute in last week's 5-5 draw with Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Milner; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita; Salah, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Subs: Adrian, Lovren, Firmino, Mane, Lallana, Robertson, Jones.
