Liverpool Lime Street worker 'sexually assaulted at station'

A female worker was sexually assaulted by a man at Liverpool Lime Street Station, police have said.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to following the incident on Saturday, September 12.

The member of staff was near the station's exit on Lord Nelson Street when she was approached by a man at 6.10pm.

The man touched her upper arm as he began talking to her, police said.

She waved away his attention and the man left.

But he returned a short time later and sexually assaulted the staff member, before leaving the station.

British Transport Police believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could assist their investigation.
