Liverpool Council has confirmed six Lifestyles leisure centres will reopen on April 12.
Currently closed under coronavirus restrictions, gyms are set to be allowed to open for indoor activities again from that date. Outdoor sports are able to resume from today.
Lifestyles has now confirmed that some of its centres within the city will be ready to be reopened on April 12 with social distancing measures in place.

“Details of other Lifestyles sites will be published in due course.
“Until we are advised otherwise, social distancing restrictions will remain in place and activities will still be limited to ensure your continued safety.

While the buildings themselves will reopen on April 12, classes will not resume then. Under the government’s current timetable, they can begin again on May 17.
Sauna, steam and spa pools will also remain closed for now.
There are a total of 14 Lifestyles sites across the city, with each offering a different range of facilities.
Some larger Lifestyles centres have been used to aid the city’s Covid testing programme, with the indoor courts at Liverpool Tennis Centre set to remain shut until further notice while it remains a testing site.
However, outdoor courts at the centre are now able to be booked from today.
