Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has emulated Sir Alex Ferguson in giving his team a crucial weapon in the title race - the ability to win games right at the death.
The Reds' win over Tottenham on Sunday showcased their determination to take their title battle with Manchester City right to the wire.
Klopp's men had been heading for a damaging draw after Tottenham's Lucas Moura cancelled out Roberto Firmino's opener.
But Mo Salah forced a mistake from Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris as the final whistle neared, leading to an own goal from Toby Alderweireld that gave Liverpool a vital victory.
Liverpool have scored three winning goals in the 90th minute or later in the Premier League this season - their second highest tally in a single campaign after the 2008-09 season, when they scored four.

Scoring last-ditch winners was a quality associated with Ferguson's all-conquering Manchester United sides of the 1990s - and Anfield legend John Aldridge says Liverpool's knack of nabbing late goals could end their 29-year wait for the title.
"There was a fear factor associated with Alex Ferguson's title-winning Manchester United teams," wrote Aldridge in a column for the Irish Independent .
"And one key aspect of their success has crept into the current Liverpool side. You could see opponents visibly cracking when United pushed for late winners in what became known as ‘Fergie Time', and that quality is now in evidence as Liverpool aim to end their long wait for a Premier League title.

"This Liverpool team have dug out so many victories in games when they have not been at their best this season and once again, the decisive moment went in their favour as Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris spilled an easy save and another three points were put on the board."
The former Liverpool striker added: "Manchester City... are now fully aware that this Liverpool team are not going anywhere and that pressure could be crucial as their hectic month of April heats up."
