Liverpool legend John Aldridge has responded to Liam Gallagher's latest jibe about the Reds.
Former Oasis frontman Gallagher has repeatedly taken aim at the Reds after the European and world champions wrestled the Premier League title from Man City this season.
Gallagher, who is a huge City fan, tweeted yesterday to say that Leeds' promotion to the Premier League "p*****" on Liverpool 's achievements.
He said: "Leeds Utd getting promotion p***** all over LFC wining there (sic) 1st PL title have you seen your mother baby standing in the shadows MCFC x."
But ECHO columnist Aldo today responded to remind Gallagher of Liverpool's achievements compared to City.
"Liam you’re (sic) team will always be in the shadow of Liverpool FC," he said. "Look I’ll put it in lay mans terms for you! It's identical to Oasis being in the shadow of the Beatles. You know that unbeatable group from again Liverpool. Take care pal."
