Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher's on-air South Wales derby message to Rhian Brewster and Steve Cooper

The second South Wales derby of the campaign is almost upon us.

And Swansea City go into the game at Cardiff City Stadium having completed two loan signings.

The Swans have added Chelsea's Marc Guehi and Liverpool's Rhian Brewster to their ranks ahead of the trip to the Welsh capital.

Both players are eligible to make their debuts for the club against Neil Harris' side this weekend.

And it seems Jamie Carragher will be keeping a close eye on events in Cardiff.

The Liverpool legend showed his support for two Swansea men with connections to the Reds ahead of the clash with the Bluebirds while working for Sky Sports.

Following their coverage of Sheffield United's 1-0 win over West Ham - a game in which former Swan Oli McBurnie netted the only goal - ex-Manchester United man Gary Neville was in the process of advertising the TV channel's upcoming weekend fixtures.

After giving details of Brentford's derby clash with Queens Park Rangers, Neville moved on to the fixture between Cardiff and Swansea.

But Carragher interrupted Neville's voiceover and said: "Come on Steve Cooper and Rhian Brewster."

It certainly went down a hit with the Swansea faithful on social media.

Swansea are of course looking to make history by becoming the first side to complete a league double in the fixture having won the reverse meeting between the teams at the Liberty Stadium in October.

Kick-off in Cardiff is at 12pm on Sunday.
