The photo posted to his Instagram story shows Carragher laughing in a Man United shirt, and the caption reads: "For one night only!"
The comical image was a screengrab taken from the popular Sky Sports show, Monday Night Football, which Carragher appears on alongside Gary Neville.

Earlier in the season, after the United legend lost in a penalty shootout to Carragher the forfeit was for Neville to wear a Liverpool shirt live on TV.
Carragher provided a replica jersey signed by Xherdan Shaqiri and also opted to pose in a United top.

And the 41-year-old has made another comical jibe at Neville's time as Valencia boss.
In a post to Instagram, Carragher shared a picture of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Neville.
