Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler believes that the Reds' success in the Champions League will help their fight for the Premier League title.
Fowler's former side defeated FC Porto 4-1 in their second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday night, with the result completing a 6-1 aggregate success.
Pundits including Gary Neville have said before that they believe Liverpool might be best concentrating on one major trophy over the other.

But that's far from Fowler's view, with the former Liverpool striker insisting that the club's Champions League success is actually helping them strive for the title, with the Reds currently leading the way domestically.
"The good thing with Liverpool is they are winning and beating good teams. The games are coming thick and fast and that is great," Fowler told BT Sport.
"It hasn't given them enough time to feel pressure. The run in the Champions League is helping them (in the Premier League)."
Liverpool will meet Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League later this month and Fowler insists that the Reds have a great chance.

"Manchester United showed in the game at Old Trafford that teams can get in behind them," Fowler added.
"They have wonderful players. I just think defensively that Barcelona are weak and they can be exposed."
